Learn the fascinating art of Cyanotype, a camera-less photography technique involving objects on solution-coated paper and exposed to UV light (natural or synthetic/boxed), which results in a gorgeous Prussian Blue background with white contrasts. This magical process originated a few years after what we know as modern photography and offers endless ideas when it comes to using 3D objects to create unique art. From natural specimens like flowers, weeds, branches, and rocks, to Goldfish crackers, keys, jewelry, and more....Cyanotype is a channel into a fun and easy to do artform that will give you the surprise factor as you wait for images to come to life!

Our Bejeweled series continues, this time in honor of Valentine's Day! Craft your own "bejeweled heart" using old/broken jewelry, along with beads, buttons, sparkly jewels, and sequins on a die cut board or in a photo frame with fabric insert. Each one is totally unique and makes a beautiful piece of décor for your home or to give as a gift.  Guests are invited to bring along any pieces they wish to use in the process and supplies will also be available at class.
